Pet News and Information
Interested in pets’ health stories, pets in the news, new pet products and news on pet events? - You’ll find them all in the Pet News section - just click on the menu button located on the left hand menu. You can also add your comments on news items by clicking on the link at the end of the item!

 Kitty & Teddy – the sites resident 'virtual' pets – bring you their regular, unique and fun take (from a pet’s perspective) on the news and other issues in their 'blog' (an online diary). In their tips section they provide useful guides, hints and tips for pet owners.

The Events Calendar, located on the right hand menu, lists some of the key events across the UK. If you fancy attending an event of interest to pet owners, take a look and see what’s on offer near you.

Pet Directory
Not the usual service and business listings you’ll find on other sites; on My Pet Friends, business owners can list their services for FREE, and when you search for them you’ll be able to see where they’re located in relation to where you are. And, if you’ve registered you can leave feedback ratings and comments about services that you’ve used – giving businesses that all important customer feedback and providing you and other My Pet Friends users with confidence in the services listed.

You’ll also know what other users of My Pet Friends have found useful, because the 10 most searched for listings will make it to the top listings section of the site which can be seen on the right hand border on all sections of the site.

 There are many ways you may want to use the directory - to find a kennel, an online pet shop, a pet sitter, a vet etc. For example, if you're going on holiday in the UK and want to take your pet with you, so use the directory to find a pet friendly hotel and then find a local pet sitter to where you are staying. This will allow you to take your pet with you and for some of the time you can arrange to have them cared for locally, freeing you up for days when you want to visit places that don't allow pets (places of interest, restaurants etc).

 Social Networking
Meet and make contact with other pet owners across the UK. You’ll need to register to do this but it’s entirely FREE to do so. By registering you can leave messages for other users on the Message Board (e.g. lost and found) join in discussions in the Forum and add details to your own profile and - because we know how important your pets are to you - add a profile for your pet too! Links for both of these services are located on the left hand menu.
