The dog rescue team based in Conwy has organized its first conference to bring together experts in the field. Lectures and Demonstrations on Specialist subjects by European and UK experts will be held at the three day Global rescue services conference to be held on 10-13 May 2007.

The charity is better known for the assistance it provides in areas hit by earthquakes, and with the current increase in these natural disasters hitting the world the conference aims to let people know about the ways dogs are now being used.
-
Talks include ‘explosives and drug detection dogs’ by Collin Singer, Victim identification / forensics (tsunami 2005)’ by Trish Foley and ‘Fire Investigation dogs’ by Dave Peplow.
-
The rescue teams are made of volunteers and they depend on donations and fund-raising to keep them going. For more information see http://globalrescueservices.org.uk/
