Edinburgh dog owners will need to be extra careful this week as the city council’s dog fouling alert van is on the look out for irresponsible pet owners who allow their dogs to foul the pavements, grassed verges and parks in Edinburgh.
-
The van will be recording evidence to enable a successful prosecution – owners who do not clean up after their dog can expect to pay fines of up to £500.
-
Remember, dog fouling is unsightly, inconsiderate and causes diseases to spread. Be a responsible dog owner and clean up after your dog.
-
Have a good tip to help dog owners clean up after their dog? Why not share it in the My Pet Friends Pet chat forum?
