Don’t make it too easy for computer hackers and identity thieves to steal your identity, cash and personal data. A moneysupermarket.com survey revealed that a staggering 15 million computer users in the UK use their pets name as their password. With social networking sites such as Facebook and MyPetFriends on the rise, thieves could easily find out personal data that could be used to access other personal information. Our advice – don’t give out any information that you know is sensitive or personal. - The survey reveals that up to 8 million write their passwords in their diary, 5.3 million write it on a post-it note and stick it near their screen or desk and 1.8 million keep it in their wallet. The really lazy net users use the word ‘password’ to sign in. - If you haven’t already signed up for your free My Pet Friends account, do so now by clicking here. By registering you can make the most of our free services and still enjoy searching for pet news, pet shops and pet care guides (including helpful dog care and cat care guides in Kitty & Teddy's pet care tips). - Add as favourites (0) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 1175
