Oprah Winfrey’s pet cocker spaniel Sophie died last month from kidney failure. The adorable pet of 13 years gave her so much unconditional love that she states she was a true love in her life. She is planning to dedicate a show investigating the abuse of puppy farms / mills in the US, to her late pet. - The show features Lisa Ling investigating puppy mills. - Oprah’s other dogs were obtained from specialised breeders, as a result of the investigation in the show she still supports the good work that breeders do, but strongly supports future dog owners to consider adopting their pet from a shelter or dog re-homing charity. - Search the My Pet Friends Pet Business Directory to find a dog breeder or a dog rehoming centre near you. - Add as favourites (0) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 710
