There are over 270,000 puppies registered with the Kennel Club each year and they are a vital part of the family unit. To ensure that a puppy has the best possible start in life, the Kennel Club is about to speed up this important process. However, until now the only way to transfer the registered ownership of a new puppy was through the post, which is slow and can lead to applications being lost.- The Kennel Club will launch an online system in the summer that will revolutionise the puppy registration system and enable puppy owners to officially transfer the ownership of a puppy into their own name without needing to leave the house. - Once the transfer application has been processed, puppy owners will be offered six weeks’ free insurance to cover their new family member in that vulnerable early stage of its life. They will then have immediate access to the full range of Kennel Club services throughout the dog’s lifetime. These range from reunification services for lost pets and insurance - ensuring that a dog is healthy and protected - to access to the Kennel Club’s wide range of activities and events which can completely transform the experience of dog ownership. - The launch of the online ownership transfer scheme follows the successful launch of the Online Litter Registration system in 2006, which has already led to 20% of all puppies registered with the Kennel Club each month being done at the click of a mouse. - Add as favourites (0) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 1399
