Husband kills wife over pet |

 A 47-YEAR-OLD man has been jailed for life after he stabbed his wife in a row over the family dog last year. Steven Morgan wanted to get rid of the pet dog because of its bad habits, which included eating its own faecaes.

His wife, Rebecca, said that it should stay with them at their home in Port Talbot, South Wales. During an argument on July 8th he stabbed her once in the heart with a kitchen knife, then slit his wrists.

Faeces eating – or coprophagia as it is known – is common amongst new born dogs. In older dogs, eating faeces may be an attention-seeking behaviour and for some dogs it is possibly due to anxiety or boredom. Speak to your vet for more specific help and advice.
