Standing at 6ft 5ins on his hind legs – Sampson, a cross between a Great Dane and a Newfoundland – is thought to be the biggest dog in the world.
-
He weighs an amazing 19 stone 10lbs and has paws the size of dinner plates. He can even hold a football in his mouth and boasts an impressive 59 inch chest and 29 inch neck. At only three years of age - it’s predicted that he may grow even more.
-
Owners Julie and Ray Woods of Boston, Lincs, say Sampson is a big softie.
