The final part - of a three-part My Pet Friends Special report- You won’t find many books about them in pet shops and information on the web about them is also limited, but the public and celebrities alike have been fascinated by these designer pets. The poodle mix breeds of course – so we couldn’t leave these gorgeous creatures out of this three part My Pet Friends Special on designer pets. - The mix breeds are a hybrid dog and not a new breed of dog – this basically means that they are a cross breed of more than one purebred dog. And why breed other dogs with a poodle? – well, combining the good points of course - poodles are known for their intelligence and they don’t shed hair like other dogs! However, what they don’t shed (because you can’t eliminate the pet hair problem completely) you will have to get groomed and cared for – you can find details of pet groomers near you who specialise in grooming of mix breeds in the My Pet Friends pet directory. - When we began our journey looking at designer pets, we didn’t realise how much interest we would receive about this topic – thank you to all our reader for all your questions, comments and suggestions; we’ll be developing the ideas presented here into a fuller pet news article / pet fact sheet in Kitty and Teddy’s Tips section of the site. - In the meantime, we’ll leave you with this amazing list of names for designer / hybrid poodle breeds – some them sound amazing and we’re not sure you’ll find them in your local pet shop, but you can always search our pet directory to find a breeder (if you’re a hybrid pet breeder reading this, get in touch so we feature you in our enhanced article). - Picture above of a labradoodle puppy. - (Remember: My Pet Friends supports initiatives to re-home unwanted pets and would always urge its readers to consider adopting a rescued pet or a pet that needs re-homing when considering a new pet.) - Aussiedoodle - Australian Shepherd / Poodle Bassetoodle - Basset Hound / Poodle Bich-poo - Bichon Frise / Poodle Bossi-Poo - Boston Terrier / Poodle Boxerdoodle - Boxer / Poodle Cairnoodle - Cairn Terrier / Poodle Cavapoo - Cavalier King Charles Spaniel / Poodle Chipoo - Chihuahua / Poodle Cockapoo - Cocker Spaniel / Poodle Daisy Dog - Bichon / Shih Tzu / Poodle Doxiepoo - Dachshund / Poodle English Boodle - English Bulldog / Poodle Foodle - Toy Fox Terrier / Poodle Foxhoodle - Fox Hound / Poodle Goldendoodle - Golden Retriever / Poodle Irish Doodle - Irish Setter / Poodle Jack-A-Poo - Jack Russell Terrier / Poodle Labradoodle - Labrador Retriever / Poodle Lhasapoo - Lhasa Apso / Poodle Malti-Poo - Maltese / Poodle Pomapoo - Pomeranian / Poodle Poogle - Beagle / Poodle Pugapoo - Pug / Poodle Schnoodle - Schnauzer / Poodle Scoodle - Scottish Terrier / Poodle Sharpoo - Shar-Pei / Poodle Sheepadoodle - Old English Sheepdog / Poodle Shepadoodle - German Shepherd / Poodle Shihpoo – Shih Tzu / Poodle Springerdoodle - English Springer Spaniel / Poodle Weimardoodle - Weimaraner / Poodle Westiepoo - Westie / Poodle Yorkipoo – Yorkshire Terrier / Poodle - Add as favourites (0) | Quote this article on your site | Views: 1615
