The recent Bank Holiday weather was terrible, but I’m not one to whine on and on about it (Teddy: like our readers believe that one Kitty). Anyway, the weather has calmed down a little now, so great for gardening and getting tasks done outside the house.

Our owners took some time out to tend to their garden today. Teddy and I try to help, but we aren’t much help really. We do like to go over and inspect, but for the majority of the time we just lounge about in the garden, although I prefer to sit under a shady tree and occasionally on top of the shed, Teddy will always sit in full sun. He likes the sun so much that our owners have at times had to forcibly drag him into the shade. It’s a funny sight because Teddy doesn’t resist and makes his body all floppy, it’s like he’s carrying out a peaceful protest. Our owners then drag him across the decking whilst he does this impression of a big fluffy mop, it’s a sight we should video and upload onto YouTube.

Pets love plants but we have to be careful which ones we go near as some can be poisonous. We’re not sure which ones are bad for us, so we’ll ask the My Pet Friends team who are going to BBC Gardeners World Live show in a couple of weeks time, to ask the many experts there.
