I have a rescue cat too. Your pet family sounds interesting-I hope your cat gets better soon. Do the dog and cat get on well? A dog near us loves cats - she was brought up with one - and is always trying to befriend them. It would be nice to have more than one cat, we did have a fluffy white kitten with a cocoa patch and brown eyes but our cat is a one-cat-kittie.

Thanks for the welcome. My dogs love the cat and the cat loves the dogs. When Bo (16 year old) and Moose (cat) were young they used to play for hours. They would also snuggle and sleep together, it was so cute. Bo has pretty much lost interest in Moose but Copper, the younger dog, is fascinated by her. She likes to shadow Moose's every move plus she actually grooms the cat. A dog licking a cat, pretty funny.

That's so sweet that Copper grooms Moose. Maybe she sees her as a puppy. What colour is Moose? My cat Queenie is black with a white blaze under her chin and a small white patch underneath. She swings on doors and opens them to get us up for 5.30 breakfast sometimes! There's an friendly, strange looking old lady cat across the road with a really hoarse voice but she has a sweet nature. She has a face as round as a football and is pure black with amber-orange eyes.
I like your pets' names, they're cute.

Moose is a grey and white cat. I actually have a dogster page (http://www.dogster.com/dogs/625065) for Bo and if you go to it there are a couple of pictures with her in them. There is also a picture of Copper. I agree, I think Copper is grooming Moose. She also likes to groom Bo. She gets him when he's laying down and she'll put a paw over his, trapping him, and start licking away. Since he's 16 it's hard for him to get up and escape so sometimes he'll just throw himself over in hopes she'll get the hint. Sometimes she does and sometimes she doesn't. Their antics have kept us very amused over the years. Have you ever had or thought of getting a dog?
