The British Horse Society (BHS) has collated a whole range of statistics to provide a true picture of equestrian activity in the UK.
-
The information, which offers an insight into the equine industry and equestrian life in the UK, will be extremely useful for anyone seeking hard evidence whether it be journalists, businesses or those lobbying for change.
-
BHS Director of Access, Safety and Welfare, Mark Weston, said: “The statistics are invaluable for volunteers and professionals campaigning for equestrian rights to safer off-road riding, and the safety and welfare of horses. They provide a picture of the scale of equestrian activity in the UK, which is often misunderstood by decision and policy makers.”
