Celebrity Paws auction starts tomorrow and offers the purrfect Christmas present for someone who has everything! Cat loving celebrities have kindly donated their ‘paw prints’ to the UK’s leading cat welfare charity, Cats Protection, in a bid to raise money for the charity and offer the public the chance to score the most unique Christmas presents on offer this festive season.
-
Eighteen cat loving celebrities, including TV personality Rolf Harris, actor Robbie Coltrane, TV presenter Fearne Cotton and sports stars Andy Murray and Joe Cole, have kindly donated their ‘paw prints’ to the charity in a bid to raise money to help unwanted and abandoned cats and kittens across the UK.
-
Each celebrity was asked to draw round their hand, decorate it and then sign it to create a unique item. The auction will run from Wednesday 3 December to Saturday 13 December and the charity believes this could be the ideal solution for those struggling to decide what to buy their friends and family this Christmas.
-
Kate Bunting, the charity’s PR Manager, said “Not only is the auction a fantastic and fun way to raise money for Cats Protection, it also offers a great opportunity to get your hands on a unique gift for someone or even as a treat for yourself. Admittedly some of the paw prints are wackier than others but each one is totally authentic so we hope people will get bidding!”
-
The auction is being run through Ebay and everyone is encouraged to log on via www.cats.org.uk/celebritypaws to view the full list of paw prints available.
