cat and dog happy.jpgAn essential part of puppy training, teaching your puppy toilet etiquette is a must if you are to have a mess-free life together.
-
It is also one of the hardest aspects of training to actually teach. Be prepared for many weeks of headaches and problems as you potty train your new puppy, although to aid and assist you we have come up with some tips that are sure to make your life  lot easier…
-

1. Regular feeding times are important because they introduce a form of routine into your new puppy’s life.
2. Keep an eye out for any stray poops that your puppy may have accidently done. Learn where in your house he or she is going and try to catch them in on the act. This way you will be able to tell them that that shouldn’t do it there and direct them to the garden instead.
3. Keep the area they are allowed to wander around in to a confined space for the first few weeks – this way you can be sure they won’t get the chance to mess anywhere they are not supposed to.
4. Keep an eye on your puppy and when they are about to relieve themselves, then bring them into the garden. Keep doing this every time they want to go, and they will eventually learn that the garden is the right area for them.
