kitty_and_teddy.jpgHappy New year!  Have you made any resolutions? Kitty makes resolutions all the time, Teddy doesn’t like to plan too much – and despite these differences, we still get on (you’d think we’d fight like cat and dog with those differences – lol).  But many of you can’t escape the urge and pressure to make New Years resolutions at this time of year.
-
It’s actually a good time – the busy Christmas period is out of the way and there are no Hallmark events to get in the way of you falling off the wagon (we’re thinking most of you are on diets or swearing to reduce your alcohol intake – we know you so well).
-

It made us think about resolutions you can make to your pets, here’s just a few we could come up with:
-

- resolve to take your dog for more walks – this will also help you to keep fit
- spend a few more minutes doing nothing and thinking of nothing, whilst you stroke or play with your cat – this will help you to de-stress after a long day too
- make a plan for when you will feed your pet, who in the house will be responsible for what (walking, grooming, feeding etc) and put the dates of vaccinations, worming, or de-fleaing in your lovely new calendar that you are bound to have received from someone this Christmas.
- donate to pet charities – it doesn’t have to be much, a few pounds a year can make a huge difference, or you could pop a few tins of food in to those charity boxes that most supermarkets have at the end of the tills – you’ll be doing good and it will make you feel great too.

-
Come back and see us again soon,
