I’m so excited – Christmas is just around the corner and it’s getting very festive here in the My Pet Friends office. We’ve put our tree up and despite me getting entangled up in the fairy lights, and Kitty’s fascination with the baubles, we’re all happy with the end product. - Putting the tree up didn’t go without argument though, in fact at one stage someone in the My Pet Friends team rudely accused Kitty and I of fighting like cats and dogs (unbelievable – I would have taken it further, but it’s Christmas so I have decided to overlook it). - We had discussions over what colour theme we should have – I like traditional green, gold and red; whereas Kitty’s been influenced by one of the local Persian cats, who think they are better than everyone else and wanted to go with white, silver and blue. But sense prevailed (i.e. I won the coin toss) and we settled on a green tree. It’s artificial, because we don’t think it’s very ecological to a. chop a tree down so that we can b. dress it up like a drag queen for a few weeks before it’s sent to the local tip. It looks gorgeous and has really got us in the mood. - It’s been a busy year for the My Pet Friends team. Taking an idea that our owners had over 3 years ago and then translating it into this fantastic site has been no easy task. The tests are still ongoing and despite doing no advertising we are climbing the popularity ladder and already have a regular readership. - You’ve made My Pet Friends – thank you for your support. - Ho..Ho..Hope you have a great Christmas. -  {moscomment}
